About Morgan

From everywhere. At home in the desert.

I was an army brat so I moved every two years. I had never felt like I truly had a home unit I was lost in the desert south of Moab, Utah. I was lost, scared, and alone. But I was at peace. Since that fateful first trip, I have spent every winter in the deserts of the Southwest, trying to feel the freedom I felt on that trip. I truly believe the desert is a magical place.

When I am not writing, I am hiking with my two dogs, rock climbing, off-roading old Toyotas, and reading. I live in an old school bus my husband and I converted ourselves and we travel the country exploring what the outdoors has to offer.

I strongly believe frozen coffee should be drunk year-round, jeans should be outlawed, and we should get all good weather days off from work.
